Shaping New Tomorrow is an aspiring, danish fashion brand, dressing more than 5+ countries with the most comfortable menswear. Shaping New Tomorrow have been a client of Grafikr, from the start – Shifting over from a custom CMS to the Shopify platform.
As Shaping New Tomorrow in the last 2 years, have scaled their business with over 1.000% a change was needed.

We wanted to create an app experience throughout the shop
Consistency throughout the code, creating a base for scalability
The old and now outdated version of their Shop, was based on a 5-store setup, meaning that they had 5 different Shopify stores, making it possible, to suit content and imagery for each country. This was also a huge disadvantage, as the code on each store were different, making it easier for bugs to appear on a single site.
Now they are still using the same 5-store setup, but this time with a development setup, making it possible to push the code throughout all 5 stores, at once.

As Shaping New Tomorrow is already a household name in Denmark, because of their appearance in Løvens hule (The danish version of Shark tank, Dragons’ den, etc.). They can get away with using their name and branding.
But when expanding to other countries, they quickly found out, that was no longer the case. And therefore we made it possible for them, to customise each shop, creating a more tailored experience, for the customers, ultimately resulting in more online conversions.

Creating an expandable and tag-based filter, for the collections
On the old shop, Shaping New Tomorrow, had no filtering on their collection pages, making the user have to navigate through different collections, when searching for specific products. This was a huge disadvantage for the overall user experience.
Filtering isn’t a standard part of the Shopify system, and were therefore needed, to be custom built. The filter takes full advantage of the Shopify back-end fields, and is mainly powered by the product tags.
